Our state of the art 3D scanner has made impressions a thing of the past. We now use a camera to make a 3D model of your teeth. This also allows us to use 3D printing and milling to create very accurate fitting Crowns, Bridges and Dentures, as well as giving us the ability to simulate what your teeth would look like after having braces.
We now use a digital x-ray developer, which combined with our new x-ray machine, gives better quality images with a lower radiation dose than was previously possible.
PRF (Platelet Rich Fibrin) treatment is where we take a small blood sample and separate out the different blood cells. The plasma that is rich in growth cells and healing factors is then used during surgery to promote healing and the regeneration of bone and soft tissue.
Our Soft Tissue Laser has multiple applications, from oral surgery, such as correcting "gummy" smiles, to treating gum disease. It can aid healing, minimises bleeding and doesn't damage hard tissues such as bone and tooth.
The piezo-surgery machine is a fairly new technology. This machine will precisely cut hard tissue like bone and tooth, without damaging adjacent soft tissue. It can minimise the need for surgical extractions of teeth and allows great accuracy during bone surgery.
The Osstell Beacon is a small machine that allows us to more accurately determine an implant's stability, assess how well it has integrated into the bone, and gives an indicator of when the implant is ready to have the crown or bridge fitted.
